A gentle reminder to live closer to who you truly are.
It sounds simple. Somehow, these days, it rarely is.
We spend so much time becoming — imagining who we want to be, building our future selves, sometimes living so far ahead that we forget to notice the beauty of the life already here.
And then, every once in a while, you meet someone who simply is.
We’re happy to introduce you to sisters Viktorija and Sunčica Banda, who often create their own little visual stories for Bazerdžan — interpreting, in their own way, the pieces we design and produce as part of our clothing brand BazerdzanWear.

I first met Viki as the artist behind Potka Embroidery. She came to Bazerdžan with her embroidered socks, which I immediately adored. But what stayed with me was her.
The clothes she altered by hand to make them her own. Her instinctive connection to nature. Her quiet, unmistakable way of being exactly herself.
People carry their world with them. With Viki, you can almost hear the birds, feel the breeze through the trees.
I knew I wanted her to become part of Bazerdžan. Luckily, life agreed.
“I love visual arts, and I see photography as a space where I can shape my own vision and develop a distinctive aesthetic.
Most of my photographs are created outdoors. Nature has always been part of my identity. I grew up by the Vrbas River, close to my grandparents, spending much of my time in the garden, among fruit trees, animals and nature. This is where I find a sense of belonging and inspiration.
That is why my photographs almost always feature a greenhouse, a garden, a meadow, a pasture, animals or a cornfield. This is the world that surrounds me, and one I don’t want to distance myself from. On the contrary, I try to preserve it through photography and make it an integral part of my visual expression.
For me, nature is not simply a backdrop — it is part of my identity.”

“Being a model, being in front of the camera, is a kind of safe space for me.
It is where I feel most like myself — free to experience a piece of clothing through movement and pose, through the play of seduction, and to pass that moment on to others.
In a way, I want to tell a story without words, like an actor on a stage. The conscious control of every movement, the ability to transform a mood in a second — from joy to seriousness — and to step into a different character is what attracts me most to modelling as a form of artistic expression.
When it comes to fashion, I’m fascinated by performance art — or what you might call a theatrical fashion show. Art performed live, unfolding in real time in front of an audience. The body becomes a medium, with room for provocation and social commentary.
I would love to become part of a story like that one day.”

In their recent shoots, Viktorija and Sunchica interpreted two BazerdžanWear pieces in their own way — our Cardigan styled with the Snake Scarf, and our Neo Dimije.
For Viktorija, the freedom to reinterpret a piece is part of what makes it interesting.
“The eco-leather scarf is one of the pieces I particularly love because of its functionality and versatility. The material allows it to be worn throughout the seasons — in autumn and winter, but also in spring and summer.
It can be styled as a scarf, a top or a belt, which makes it incredibly adaptable to different looks. Its texture and shape bring an interesting contrast to an outfit.
That versatility makes it a piece you can keep for years — styling it, reinterpreting it and bringing it back into your everyday wardrobe in new ways.”
