Promaha is best described as a draft created when wind blows through windows or doors. In Bosnia and most Balkan countries, there is a common belief that even a slight draft or cross-breeze can be deadly. For example, people may think they can catch a serious illness from the breeze traveling between two open windows, from having wet hair in the wind, or simply from feeling a slight draft.
